History of the team

The team was formed at the start of the 2004/05 season as the Under 13 Reds team, the team was started by Bob Crompton and Dave Purvis to create opportunities for the players that were not playing for the already established Whites team.

For the start of the 2006/07 season the reds were promoted to the third division and Jonny Alderslade began coaching the team as Bob stepped aside to take the role of secretary after Dave stood down.
After a positive start to the season which saw Waldridge take 9 points of a possible 12 the team began to struggle in the higher division and off the pitch events resulted in a points deduction however after an Easter Trip to Belgium the team were rejuvinated and performed well in the closing stages of the season.
Outstanding performances from Bryan Wood and Daniel Dobson being the highlight of the season

In April 2007 Jonny took over as manager with George Mitchell becoming assistant manager. Waldridge have made a positive start to the 2007/08 season and go into February in a mid table position
